Coldest May I Can Remember, You ?

Ok, I live in central Alabama. I am 47 years old and have lived here for most of my life. Without a doubt May of this year, 2013, is the coldest in my memory here ever. Usually by May in Alabama we are already sweating buckets. This year in May I have ran the heat most nights. Am I the only one feeling this way? Does anyone else agree ? What is going on ?
