How do i get rid of pimples/acne?

Right now im getting tons of acne on my forehead, even thought i wash everyday. I tried all the simple stuff like the toothpaste, baking soda, salt water, and a few more... and none of them even worked!! can you help me find a way to get rid of them, without me going out to by stuff,(medicine and creams) like it being homemade? THANKS!!!
