Are people allowed in your room at schoolies?

me and my mates are staying on the gold coast for schoolies, The rules for all the apartments say no visitors are allowed in the rooms, but everyone always talk about how they brought people back to there room at night, like what if one of us wants to bring a girl home?? someone who has beeon on schoolies, could you please answer? thanks
