My dog just gave birth but lower tummy is hard?

My dog gave birth to a puppy June 20th at 4AM and her lower belly is like a hard ball that sticks out could it be a dog that wasn't born; she is moving around completely normal and runs around and jumps on my bed or could it be that she just gave birth
