Whats the easiest best haircut for my hair type?

My hair is colar bone length and pretty damaged frizzy! My husband hates hates hates waiting for me to get ready so unless I have the time my hair usually ends up in an ugly poney tail ): I'm looking for a new hair cut that will be easier to style and look nice ((: I haven't gotten my hair cut in like 6 months (its been growing out from a bob) I was thinking maybe somethinf choppy/ long layers. Is that a good idea?? Also any suggestions on hair products to maintain frizzy damaged hair would be great (: I'd like to keep the lengh tho fyi (: any my hair is slightly wavy (:
