Disorganised thoughts and speech, psychosis?

Is it normal to get disorganised thoughts and speech in psychosis? I have noticed whenever I get psychotic my thoughts get disorganised and so does my speech, I start to ramble and switch from topic to topic or talk about totally random things that make no sense. Like I just checked my Tumblr page and about an hour ago I wrote this which I thought made sense at the time; "Last night i saw a unicorn and it went out of my window and sometimes i get this weird thing when i don’t know really it just happens and i just hate that. Its like a magic train and the wind goes really fast." I have been going through psychosis on and off since I was 15.
