Anime where girl has dark past?

I'll take manga too, no manhwa though I want a story Ookami-san and her Seven Companions and Inu x Boku SS where the girl is bad at interacting with people because of something that happened in her past or is currently happening. I want it to be romance, but i don't want seinen, yaoi, or ecchi. Keep it moderately clean please. I would tell you what I have already seen but i've seen so many that would be impossible. I will also just take a dark past. Bullying, abuse, isolation, anything like that. Thanks for your help!
