OK. One more stupid question on power cords Please?

Gen. is 3500, has a 20 amp plug in. Need to run ONE 100ft. cord to sump pump. Plus a seperate 65 ft. cord to other sump pump. On this one i would like to put in a plug in at about the halfway mark, then go to pump from there .. The plug in will be used for either small TV., Coffee maker , Tea kettle. etc... Which will work good enough and be safe , 14-3 or 14-2 .. Only one small appliance at a time but conected to sump.. Both sumps are 8 AMP... Please help, TY ?
