Question #7800279

Can you have a dark tone, but still be light?

I am far from a professionally educated singer but I have always felt my lower notes( 2nd octave notes) had a dark tone, but light in weight. I can go down to a C#2, but my tone is real hazy and I don't really get audible without a mic until A2 and still I would say I'm pretty light This, among other things, lead me to be a tenor. So is it possible that you can have dark in timbre, but light in weight voice when singing in the lower parts of your voice
