Can I bring these things on a airplane ?

Hey y'all!! I'm 12 and going on a plane for the first time. I'm in California but going to visit my other cousins and uncles in Alabama. I don't know what to bring and not to bring. Like I want to bring mascara , it's the mega plush volum' express hydrofuge water resistant . I have half of it left . Can I bring that? Or even a hair flattener? And what do I bring and not bring? My iPod and its charger? Ohh and can I charge stuff on the plane? And how long will the trip be? We have 2 other stops. So I don't know how long it will be. And will my iPod touch last that long?
