My browsers are not functioning properly, need help.?

Okay, my Internet connection is good and working on every other device. It's even working on my notebook but then my browsers are not working.Like if I'm on google chrome, the page opens right but when I enter an address, it says unable to access the network. I've tried everything possible and I don't know what to do about it. Even my Internet explorer says the same. I know it's not the connection that's the problem because its working just fine on my sisters laptop.
