Question #871306

Toshiba satellite laptop- Internet explorer not loading. And BIOS 2 update?

I bought a refurbished Toshiba Satellite p775-s7100 from walmart. Had it for two days, working fine. Last night I clicked the Internet explorer and the window popped up blank and a little alert said Internet explorer suddenly stopped working. I clicked close and that same little alert popped up 7 more times in a row and it wouldn't let me exit out of the main window of Internet explorer. Task manager would not work neither. When I click the little alerts off they just popped back up. I restarted it and desktop was normal. Then a toshiba popup came up and it said a BIOS Version 2.00 update for Satellite p775-s7100 is recommended. If I do this will it fix my Internet explorer? It had instructions of how to this update but I'm not a computer whiz so I turned the laptop off. For someone that knows a bit about computers, will this be difficult to do? If the update will not solve this, what will? I really don't want to send it back to walmart but will if I have to. I very appreciate the help.
