Miniature schnauzer grooming?

We would LOVE to get a miniature schnauzer (possibly black) but dislike the harsh style cut with sharp eyebrows that a lot of images that I've seen if mini schnauzers seem to have so we were wondering if there was any way of cutting/grooming them so that they look a bit less harsh and a bit softer (similar to how they look when they are puppies)? Any photos/advice would be gratefully received :-) xox
