Question #10000184

Depersonalization from not going outside?

I'm wondering if I have DP due to after my first panic attack at 18 years old I never left the house,I stayed inside all day. The panic attacks faded eventually,Then one day I first went outside at 20 years old with my family for a drive,I got in the car and immediately I felt like the world was not real,an illusion,Then I felt like I didn't know who I was,I felt like I was in spirit form inside a body. I went into full panic mode, fell asleep until we got home. I am not kidding when I say I did not leave the house once for 2 years straight. Could that be the cause of me getting DP? I can go out in public now better and I feel more human from doing so.
