No storage on iPhone 4?

I have the iPhone 4 from Sprint. I literally only have 293 photos, 2 apps( twitter and a mp3 download) and no music. I used to have about 10 apps but when I went to go update them i got a notification saying that I can't because I have no storage so I deleted them to try and download them again which didn't work because I got the no storage notification again. I also can't take any pictures. It's a real pain. Any way to fix this?
