What is this symbol on my bracelet ?

A friend gave it to me and I have no idea what its called or what it means ... It looks like a circle with a triangle inside of it but also has triangles on the side of it that attatch to the string its tied too ... Any thoughts on it plz comment below. Cheers Phebol x
