last night had brown discharge and cramping.?

im 5w4d pregnant. and last night i had some brown discharge and cramping. i was pretty sure i was miscarrying, but now i have no cramping, and no brown discharge? im a bit confused. also, i already have one child, no history or ectopics or miscarriages, and im under 25 and healthy. what couldve caused this? im very confused, does it sound like i still might be miscarrying, and i have a doctor appointment on the 19th, and i called their office and they said thats the earliest they can get me in. should i be fine to keep that appointment and not go to the ER? thanks.
