Question #11050334

how do flowers which naturally grow in upside down way, pollinate? e.g.: nightshades/Lathyrus jepsonii?

I was in san bruno mountain today, and i noticed many flowers which were naturally growing in upside down direction(not bending after bloom, due to gravity) Even the tiny little buds were bent down. I was wondering how bees will enter these flowers in reverse direction, without any support to crawl in. why would certain flowers have strange system? dont they want to get pollinated, and bear a fruit?
