Boyfriend keeps hiding things.?

Me and my boyfriend have fought many times about him being honest with me. After trusting him for so long, my friend texted me saying she saw him at a McDonald's with his friends, after telling me he was at home. What made me mad is he lied to me. How can I get him to understand why it hurts me??
