Softmodded Wii? Need Update!?

So I softmodded my Wii (Red, 4.1u Version) And I got a letter from Nintendo that I could update my Wii. Well, I tried and I got error code 32004 and it won't let me update. Well I can't play any of my games with this version. My friend removed Homebrew and everything else with it but he forgot to remove priiloader. I already formatted my SD card and he removed everything including bootmii. What should I do? I even tried to restore my Wii to its factory settings but priiloader is still there. Help!
