my daughter is giving me a family picture for christmas, which I asked for. I plan on giving her $100 .?

I think she could use the cash to buy something she wants instead of getting a present from us which she may not want or need. My husband thinks that she will be upset because our gift to her is so much more expensive than her gift is to us. I need some input on this situation. What do you think. How would you feel if your gift did not compare to the one you received from your parents or in-laws?
