Acrylic nails? Help please? :-)?

ok so I want to get my nails done soon, and I want to get colored acrylics. (Let me explain) I usually just get the plain French tip acrylic - or the pink and white (same thing) this time I want to get a color. Can you get alcrylic that's colored? Or do you have to get the acrylics & use nail polish over it? Please explain! Thanks so much for your time :-))
