Question #12250144
Short time skips in novels?
I'm writing a novel, that takes place over 24 days. A lot of the time it's just boring travel and walking so I've been kind of skipping that. By writing things like "We walked for hours, days without seeing a single person," Or "Sometimes it seemed like the only thing that changed was the time of day. Everything else looked the same," Is it bad writing to do things like this? I have 4 major things that happen in the book, and about half of whats not major would be boring to read.
