What is 'General Problems (Cause code: 36)' And how do I fix it?

I have an LG, The straight talk one with touch screen and keyboard. Optimus I think? There is only one contact I have problems texting. I haven't received his messages and it suddenly won't let me send to him only. Everything else is working fine. What does this mean and how can I fix it? Honest help please.
