I need help...? GIRLS PREFERABLY ANSWER?

I have a good friend of mine and she's been somewhat affectionate for months a while ago when I told her I had someone and then she denied all feelings toward me when I asked her. She'd be touchy a lot and she'd always invite me to events when possible. I liked her and vice versa at some point in our friendship, and we get along, but now that were both single I was wondering if she likes me and if now is the perfect opportunity to make a move? I'm so nervous because I'm not sure if she likes me and I don't want my friends to tease me if I ask them either! What do you think?
