If my roommates are kicking me out before the end of the month are they required to give me my money back?

I moved into a house renting a room for $750 including utilities. I told them on the December 11th that my last day was going to be December 31st. I did not give them 30 days but told them I would agree to pay rent up to January 11th unless they found a roommate in those 11 days. They then sent me a text saying they wanted me out December 23rd and only giving me a week to be out seeing as I only have clothes to pack. Since they are attempting to kick me out before the end of the month do they have to give me back my money for the 8 days (23rd-31st) of the rent I already paid for?
