Which city is best for me to move? Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds?

Dear All: I have been living in Brighton for 7 years and I have found that Brighton is a really nice city, but, expensive, especially housing/living. I am thinking to move to another city which has cheaper housing, more jobs and friendly people. I have the following cities in mind: Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. Please help me and give me some advice on the city and area(s) I should move to. Or if you think there is another city that I should consider. Thanks a lot for your help! Happy new year everyone!
