My bangs are driving me crazy, what should i do to keep them out of the way while they're growing out?

I'm trying to grow my bangs out and its taking longer than I had expected. They're right below my chin now, but they're still a lot shorter than the rest of my hair (my hair is almost waist length) I've run out of things to do to keep them out of the way. Even headbands aren't helpful anymore bc they stick out at my ear. I normally braid them into the rest of my hair but I need some more things to do with them.
