Nile monitor placement help.?

no this is not a sale or free give away question. I need to try and rehome this (for now) little guy so he can live a happy life, his former owner did not take very good care of him in and has managed to push the responsiblility of taking care of him on us. He is still a scared baby and I just wanna find him a sanctuary that might be able to take care of him. Does anyone know of a sanctuary that might be able to take him in that is in the US? if so could he be shipped?
