Help! My computer boots to black screen after reinstall.?

I have a Lenovo Z50 that was upgraded to Windows 10 a year ago. Now I wanted to install Windows 8.1 back on it. I tried to install it with a disc but it just loads the Lenovo screen then a black screen appears, no windows logo at all. The install went through with out a hitch but it will not boot. So I tried Windows 10 again it does the same thing and also with Windows 8. Also the recovery on this machine was corrupted from the beginning of all this so I can't use that. I did get 8.1 to load perfectly once but upon a reboot it did the black screen again. How can I fix this?
