Getting music from ipod to computer?

Does anyone know a free program that lets you get music from an ipod to a computer without viruses?? I already used iExplorer3 (i think its called) but i didnt know for the free demo it only lets u download a certain # of songs so i didnt get the specific ones i wanted.please help!!
