My Cat is Evil? Help?

My cat sometimes scratches when he gets upset but not this much. I went to sleep last night and got up only to find the couch completely scratched up. The creepy thing is 666 was scratched into the side of the couch. The next night I went to bed and woke up to the sound of breathing. My cat was staring at me and his eyes were completely red. He then proceeded to scratch my face until I had to leave my house. Now I realize my son and wife are still in the house. What should I do?
