Everyday throat mucus? 10 POINTS?

I get throat mucus every day! It's super annoying and frustrating. This has been going on for a couple of years now. I've been to the doctor, he really doesn't know what's going on. It's caused a lot of throat problems for me. Mucunex isn't helping any. What is causing my everyday throat Mucus? How can I prevent it? Thank you much.
