Engine & Motor Swapping? Cadillac Seville Elegante?

I wanted to know if I can put a new engine and motor (and eventually most of the old parts) into my Cadillac Seville Elegante. Not the terrible ones that were made for the vehicle, but to cannibalize parts. Say, Ford mustang V8? Help and tips?
