Help with My I.S.P Thesis !!?

HI everyone, can anybody help me with writing a University strong thesis about the short story "The Things They Carried". My ISP topic is about war and also i can talk about life of soldiers during war. My three body paragraphs are that soldiers carry burdens of responsibility, unweighted fear and lose their morals !! CAN ANYONE MAKE CONNECTION BETWEEN THESE IDEAS AND WRITE A VERY STRONG THESES STATEMENT... FIRST TIME USING YAHOO ANSWERS
