Pink Floyd Question..............?

Hey, I was just listening to Another Brick in the Wall from The Wall. Part 3 ends abruptly and Part 2 does not sound like it meshes it Part 1 on the transition. Just all of them dont link up. Am I missing songs in between them or something or is that how they wanted it to be? Thanks.
