My Blackheads are not going away...?

I've had them for about more than a year now. I've been using salicylic acid ever since they appeared on my nose. I wash my face with salicylic acid in the morning and before I go to bed. I also put on non-oily lotion on my face that is suppose to prevent acne and breakouts. I usually take showers every day. Occasionally, I use nose strips, but they tend to reappear after about a day or two. What should I do? I know not to squeeze them out or use a remover because they cause "craters" and scars on your face.
