The more I try to help the worse I make it, the more I try to be there, the further I become?

I feel as though I constantly let everyone down, and no matter what I do, somehow just make everything worse.. I don't know what to do or say, so I feel it better to do nothing at all, not even try. to get out of peoples lives so I wont let them down. I think I've ruined something very important to me, and im not sure what to do...
