Rumor Reflex help????????????

I'm trying to text my girlfriend and she has an ipod and I have a Sprint rumor Reflex, she texts me on this app she has and its adorable, but i cant see the text she sends it says no content. What should i do? Is their anything i can change on my phone to fix this?
