Question #8200140

How does a dog recognize how much "time is spent" with them?

I know on my other question you say that dogs recognize their owner or "pack leader" by who spends the most time with them. But let's say you spend all week with them and on the weekend everyone else takes over. Does the dog forget you spent the whole week with it or does it actually recognize time?
