Tvs suzuki samurai accelerator problem?

I have TVS Suzuki samurai. I had met with a minor accident & had given it to Authorized TVS showroom for fitting the bike. They have replaced the accelerator cable. But now the accelerator has become very tight to rotate. What is the reason? How to fix the problem? Is there any adjustment to increase the silencer sound without dropping the mileage? If yes, How ?
