Question #10100100

Australian travellers: What do you eat on road trips?

Do you eat at the service station restaurants, or do you pack your own noms for the road? Do you try to eat healthy, or give up and end up eating chips everyday? Last year I went for a drive out west and took a box of those Indian curries in the foil pouches that you heat in boiling water. I warmed them in a billy and dunked bread in the sauce. It was a cheap and tasty change from the usual takeaway diner and pub bistro fare. Now I'm sick of curry and need some new road trip eating ideas.
