I feel a long vein in my Left Eyelid like a Pimple?

For the past few days, when i close both eyelids, my right eyelid feels perfectly smooth and my left eyelid, i feel a long vein when i rub it, i don't know what it is, and also my eyes have been getting really red lately, especially my left eye which has the long vein feeling in it, it gets extremely red, what is this?
