2000 GMC horn problems?

A couple weeks ago, I thouroghly washed my truck inside and out. I popped the hood and sprayed the mud out in the engine compartment, but got the fuse box wet and the horn started going off whenever it felt like it. I pulled the horn relay out so I wouldn't have to hear it blasting on and off all day. If I put it back in now, will it keep going off? Or will leaving it to dry out help.
