Will I benefit if I put a dependent on my W4Form?

I make 8 dollars an hour 40 hours a week. I have no dependents so I get around 60 dollars deducted from a 330.00 check. I know if i put a dependent my federal withholding will drop, but what I don't want is to owe money when I make my income tax, but then again I will get 385.00 dollars deducted per month for child support soon(one child), so will It be a good idea to put a dependent so I can get the most off of my check? Any advice is welcome. Thanks !
