How to be confident around girls?

Im 14 years old, i play football and lacrosse, I'm very good looking and i know a lot of girls in my high school think I'm cute, but there is only one problem, I'm probably the shyest guy in my school. I really like this one girl but i know that she would never like me as long as I'm still awkward around her. Does anyone have any tips to help myself become more confident around my crush and other girls, and to not be shy or awkward? Please help, thank you.
