GTA V: Cargobo mission Help?

I'm onto the mission cargobob when you have to steal the plane from Millitary and when you steal it you get a 5 star wanted and i was wondering should I just use the cheat to lower my wanted level ? (I never use cheats and I'm only using this cheat for this mission cos its too hard so please don't call me a cheat) All answers are appreciated :)
