Is this a good tactic to cripple the enemy?

I befriend the enemy like join them and become their infantry. Without them knowing, I will plant explosives unto their hq ammo stock piles then act normally like I am patroling a nearby area and then detonate them! I will.then act as I am shocked and alert the others. When they question me,I will say that I was just patrolling nearby.
