Irish guy looking American girl?

Ok so i'm a 20 year old guy from Ireland. I am obsessed with American girls. I know this might sound shallow, but I love every thing about American girls- they are so much fun and I love the American accent. I've been to America a few times on holiday but haven't really got much chance to talk to American girls. I was just wondering, What are my chances of getting an American girlfriend? do American girls like Irish guys? and what should I do to get one? thanks to any one who answers.
