Question #10700269

Is it true that having a full beard may cause problems in Utah?

I'm a 37 y.o. white male with a full beard (but with well-trimmed side-burns and mustache). My business colleague is a 33 y.o. white male with a full beard, but a near-shaven mustache. We intend to go visit Salt Lake City, Utah, and may start a small business there. Now then, I've heard that Utahns are mostly Mormon and they have a certain dislike for beards. So would we be vulnerable to problems in the Salt Lake area because of our beards (that neither of us intends to shave)? Would Utahns finding two fully bearded males in a single business something disturbing or even threatening? I predict the Mormons would try to persuade us to follow their traditions there, right? BTW, do you know some fully-beaded people who live in the Salt Lake area? If yes, did these people ever tell you about problems they faced there because of their beards? Please explain...
